Mark A. Demko grew up in Toledo, OH; however it was Chicago that inspired him to be an architect. As a child, Mark would travel to the windy city to visit family. Ironically, after receiving his Bachelor of Architecture in 2000 from the University of Cincinnati, it was Chicago that gave him his professional start. He moved back to Cincinnati in 2003 joining ArchitectsPlus in August of 2017.
Mark, a Registered Architect in Ohio, has worked in the hospitality and retail market for the past ten years. Prior to that, he worked in the residential and commercial markets. Regardless of what type of project he is working on, Mark enjoys renovation projects. These projects require creative solutions in response to existing conditions, and afford him the opportunity to tackle unique challenges that may arise during demolition and construction.
When he’s not in the office, you can find Mark trying to keep up with his two young sons, ages 6 and 8. While at home, he enjoys being in the kitchen, where he finds the process, of baking most rewarding. Mark is also an avid golfer, and when he isn’t on the course, you can be sure he is thinking about, or planning, his next round.
